About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to join our Observatory team, responsible for driving sales of luxury interior products in high-end retail and expanding the brand’s reach within the luxury market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with high-end clients, interior designers, architects, and specifiers to provide a world-class sales experience.
  • Drive Sales: Identify new business opportunities, achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, and expand the brand’s reach within the luxury market.
  • Interaction with Clients: Develop a good rapport with clients, close deals accurately and professionally, and create quotes and invoices according to client needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee various projects throughout the showroom, ensure timely follow-up on all leads, and provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive team culture.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of sales experience in high-end retail or similar industries.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
  • Shopify or general e-commerce management experience (advantageous).
  • Interior design background or antique knowledge (advantageous).
  • Previous people-management or supervisory experience.

Qualifications

  • Completed Grade 12 education.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
