About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to lead our mining operations in Phalaborwa. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing plant operations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business and operational plans in alignment with company directives and long-term goals.
- Drive project planning, execution, and delivery with a focus on safety, quality, time, and cost compliance.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial controls to ensure profitability.
- Ensure positive cash flow and sound financial governance.
- Maintain productive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and internal/external stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with OHSA, MHS Act, NEMA, ISO standards, and SHEQ requirements where necessary.
