• Carry out daily plant checks 
• Carry out repairs to motors, control equipment and other electrical equipment
• Accurately record all work done on job card or on planned maintenance schedules 
• Carry out planned maintenance schedules and safety inspections on equipment as instructed
• Undertake installation and modification of equipment and plant as instructed
• Assist the electrical foreman with the efficient running of the electrical department

Qualification and Experience:

• Theory training in the electronic trade, equivalent to N3
• Practical training and qualified with trade Test of Electrician
• Training in AC & DC variable speed drives and PLC’s

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:

• Thorough knowledge and understanding of electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of power, reticulation and process type of equipment, ranging from 12V to 11Kv
