About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and experienced Flexographic Printing Supervisor to join their team in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flexographic printing and experience in managing a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the flexographic printing department
- Manage and lead a team of printing technicians and operators
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders
- Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the printing process
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during printing
- Maintain and calibrate printing equipment as needed
- Train new employees on printing techniques and equipment operation
- Implement and enforce safety procedures in the printing department
- Communicate with other departments to coordinate printing schedules and requirements
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Qualified Trade Tested
- 3-5 years experience as a qualified Flexographic Operator will be advantageous.
- Min 1-2 years experience as a supervisor in a production environment.
