Our client is looking for a Junior CAD Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with technical drawing skills and a keen interest in structural steel design to grow within a specialised and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate technical drawings and 3D models.
• Interpret design briefs, engineering notes, and project specifications.
• Prepare shop drawings, assembly details, and fabrication layouts.
• Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and site teams to resolve drawing-related queries.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 (relevant technical qualification an advantage).
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar essential; Tekla Structures advantageous).
• Basic understanding of steel fabrication and construction drawings.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in technical work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
