Job Summary
Requirements:
Minimum of Grade 12 or a Technical N2/N3 qualification Qualified Electrical Artisan (Wireman Licence – advantageous) At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a production/manufacturing environment Experience with panel wiring, AC drive programming, and fault finding Experience with CNC machine tools, induction furnaces, and MV switching procedures is advantageous Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and be proactive in daily tasks
Responsibilities:
Maintain current LV and MV electrical installations and equipment Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on casting machines, furnaces, CNC machine tools, and other factory equipment Installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant Maintain machine data and time sheets on data management systems Adhere to safety, housekeeping, and environmental standards in the work area Report accidents/incidents promptly as per procedures Liaise with all stakeholders professionally and maintain strong business relationships
