RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand and interpret management accounts. Manage inventory, assets and capital expenditure within the stipulated framework and policy. Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly projections. Participate in the annual audit process and handling of audit related inquiries. Ensure that internal control measures are implemented and maintained. Provide support function to group IT and BI departments. Ensure implementation of SOPs and operational effectiveness. Provide support and assistance to business units management teams with administration and financial related matters. Actively assist head office with evaluation and upgrade of administration and financial systems of business units Provide support function to HR department (wages and preparation of salary information) REQUIREMENTS: Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification Minimum 5 years accounting experience Experience in cost and management accounts will advantageous Ability to prepare financial information up to TB. Experience in statutory requirements of companies and trusts will be advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting packages Agricultural industry experience will be advantageous. Must be able to work as part of a team and must be deadline driven.
