Polokwane: Chief Executive Officer

Duties: Reporting to the board, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for: Provision of strategic and operational leadership to the company team, ensuring effective business management through development and implementation of strategies, policies, processes, procedures and systems to achieve the companys objectives. As Accounting Officer of the company, the CEO shall monitor and report to the Board on the overall progress and results against strategic and operational objectives and initiate courses of action for improvement where required. The CEO is the chief liaison between its subsidiaries. He/She is empowered to establish effective control and coordination mechanisms for all operations and activities. This includes supporting the development of strategic sectors of the economy in line with provincial economic and industrial policies, Providing leadership in catalytic economic development projects, increasing regional economic collaboration, improving export performance and attracting domestic and foreign investment. The candidate should have proven proficiency in project preparation, project promotion, investment promotion, financial planning, resource mobilisation and capital project execution.
