Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership : Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance to maintain a productive and motivated work environment. Space & Traffic Management : Optimize the cold store layout, oversee pallet movement, and ensure seamless coordination with the packhouse. Compliance & Safety : Enforce stock movement protocols and uphold health and safety standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Handling Equipment Management : Oversee forklift operations, conduct equipment inspections, and ensure timely maintenance. Operational Efficiency : Streamline workflows, manage energy usage, and collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to enhance operational performance. Customer Service : Ensure accurate order fulfillment and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers. Reporting & Documentation : Maintain detailed records, temperature logs, compliance documentation, and operational reports. Qualifications: Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Warehousing, or Operations Management. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within a cold storage or warehouse environment. Experience in handling fresh produce and exporting, with a strong understanding of international quality standards.
