Responsibilities:

Stock Management: Ensure shelves are stocked correctly with the right items, and continuously monitor inventory levels to restock shelves as needed. Order Picking & Packing: Assemble orders according to picking slips, ensuring accuracy in item selection, checking labels, dates, and verifying product descriptions before packing. Inventory Checks: Inspect stock for discrepancies, such as missing items, short-dated products, or damaged goods, and report any issues to the supervisor. Assisting with Urgent Orders: Support the team in assembling urgent calling orders, ensuring quick and accurate order fulfillment. Stock Take Participation: Take part in weekly and annual stock take activities to ensure inventory accuracy. Collaboration: Work closely with checkers to make necessary adjustments to orders and ensure smooth workflow throughout the warehouse. Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, performing routine housekeeping tasks to ensure a safe and tidy working environment. Knowledge & Skills Required: Good understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations. Strong product knowledge to ensure accuracy in picking and packing. Basic numeracy skills to manage stock and verify quantities. Familiarity with general warehouse practices and safety protocols. Educational Qualifications & Experience: Matric (Grade 12). 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in a similar role. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. Planning and time management skills to meet daily goals and deadlines. Good interpersonal skills to work well within a team and support a positive work environment.
