This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with strong leadership, technical, and quality management skills to play a key role in maintaining product excellence and driving continuous improvement within a dynamic foundry environment. Working Hours & Benefits Hourly Rate: market related Shifts: Rotating shifts • 06h00 – 14h00 • 14h00 – 22h00 • Weekend shifts as required Benefits include: • Shift allowance • Bonus • Provident fund • Contribution towards medical aid • Company cell phone Minimum Requirements Education & Training: • Grade 12 or equivalent with core Mathematics • Certificate/Diploma in Quality Management or a related management field (essential) • Computer literate • Foundry industry experience advantageous Experience: • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar supervisory or foreman role • Working knowledge of: o ISO 9001:2015 o IATF 16949 o SPC (Statistical Process Control) o Problem Solving methodologies o Auditing Key Responsibilities • Maintain and administer the Quality Management System • Conduct product and process audits and compile accurate reports • Provide training and support to inspectors and operators • Implement and manage SPC and self-inspection systems • Oversee scrap, rework, and warranty claim reviews • Conduct performance appraisals and foster staff development • Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals • Promote and enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) compliance • Build a culture of quality, integrity, and teamwork Ideal Candidate Attributes • Strong leadership and decision-making skills • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines • Proactive, independent, and trustworthy • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Health & Safety Notice: This position is based in a foundry environment.
