Job Description
My client which has a strong international footprint and a long-standing reputation for operational excellence, innovation, and quality is looking to recruit a Financial Manager. This opportunity is suited to an experienced and detail-oriented CA(SA) who will take full ownership of the finance function within a highly structured, fast-paced environment, playing a key role in financial reporting, governance, controls, and continuous improvement across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to join a stable and growing organisation where they can make a meaningful impact across the full finance function.
Duties:
- Preparation and review of Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
- Managing the monthly financial close and reporting process
- Monitoring and overseeing day-to-day finance operations
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal financial controls
- Liaising with external auditors and managing the audit process
- Identifying and implementing process improvements within finance
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Education and experience:
- BCom Honours in Accounting
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge
- SAP experience is essential
- Advanced MS Excel skills is essential
