Strategic Role: Quality Systems and Audit Specialist Automotive Manufacturing Join a leading automotive manufacturing environment where precision, compliance, and continuous improvement drive excellence. Champion the accreditation standards and quality frameworks across multiple plants. The Role: As the custodian of the management systems, you’ll develop, implement, audit, and maintain critical quality frameworks, including EBOS, IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001. You’ll be the bridge between global standards and local execution, ensuring the maintenance of world-class accreditation standards and processes, while driving operational excellence. Key Outputs and Responsibilities: Implement and maintain robust management systems aligned with automotive industry standards Lead internal and external system, product, and process audits with comprehensive follow-up Manage document control systems (SharePoint-based DMS) and provide related training Coordinate external certification audits and ensure compliance across both plants Represent the plants globally on systems and audit initiatives Support TAX compliance and enforce standardised processes company-wide Drive continuous improvement through effective system application Essential Requirements: Certifications: VDA 6.3 Process Audit qualification; IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certification Experience: Minimum 10 years in automotive manufacturing; 5 years in Quality Assurance/Process Management Technical Knowledge: Automotive Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) Expertise in Customer Specific Requirements and Control Plans Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint South African citizenship with a clear criminal record Key Competencies: Internal auditing excellence and automotive standards conformity Meticulous document control and data management Strong presentation and training delivery skills Strategic thinking with attention to detail Be part of a global automotive leader where your expertise shapes quality excellence and operational success.
