Port Elizabeth: Technical Sales Representative – Irrigation & Water Systems

Job Purpose We are seeking an experienced and technically knowledgeable Sales Representative to operate within the irrigation, water systems, and agricultural supplies sector. This role requires a candidate with strong industry knowledge, proven sales ability, and the professionalism to manage a highly specialised and competitive market. Key Responsibilities Sell and promote irrigation systems and related products to agricultural, commercial, and industrial clients. Provide technical advice and solutions tailored to customer needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively sourcing new business. Prepare quotations, follow up on leads, and close sales. Maintain in-depth product knowledge and stay up to date with industry developments. Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and customer satisfaction. Meet or exceed agreed sales targets. Minimum Requirements Demonstrated experience in technical sales within the irrigation, pump, water filtration, or agricultural supply industry. Strong understanding of product applications, specifications, and installation requirements. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers. Proven ability to work independently and manage a sales territory. Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (essential).
