Job Summary
We are seeking a Magazine Master to join a dynamic team in Kolomela, Northern Cape , ensuring the secure handling, storage, and delivery of explosives in line with legal and client requirements. Key Responsibilities Safeguard stock in the magazine, ensuring compliance with SHERQ, legal, and mine procedures. Receive, verify, and reconcile deliveries of explosives and blasting accessories. Conduct daily stock checks, maintaining accurate records in the Register Book. Prepare and deliver explosives to the blasting face safely and efficiently. Assist the blaster with blast block preparation and manage stock rotation using FIFO principles. What Were Looking For Grade 12 (Mathematics required) and Magazine Master certification (CIE essential). A Blasting Assistant Certificate and Competent A Certificate (MQA) are advantageous. At least 2 years of blasting assistant experience , with supervisory exposure. Proven experience in the transportation and storage of explosives.
