About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Agri Portfolio Manager – Senior to drive business growth and foster strong client relationships in our Pretoria office. As a pivotal role in our sales team, you will play a key part in developing new agri-business opportunities, conducting financial analysis, and cross-selling efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maximising profitability, and fostering strong client relationships through effective new agri-business development, rigorous financial analysis, and strategic cross-selling efforts.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential clients (and/ or suppliers where applicable) in the agricultural sector.
  • Analyse market trends to capitalise on emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and propose tailored financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to structure deals that meet both client requirements and company objectives.

Requirements

  • Matric required
  • BCom degree with Finance and/or Agriculture as a subject(s) advantageous
  • 2-5 years of work experience
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial statements within the agricultural sector
  • Familiar with National Credit Act

Qualifications

  • BCom degree with Finance and/or Agriculture as a subject(s)
  • Matric certificate
