Hire Resolve, on behalf of their client, a leading Financial Wellness Technology company in the Financial Services industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Call Centre Sales Manager. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing prospecting and existing clients within South Africa, reporting directly to the Head of Operations. This role requires a motivated and sales-oriented individual who will handle inbound customer inquiries and effectively filter them to the appropriate channels. Please note that this position involves outbound calls, but no cold calling.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet all group targets for every measurement period.
  • Effectively manage and maintain leads to ensure required conversion rates.
  • Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and Procedures.
  • Keep the team motivated and committed to achieving set goals.
  • Provide continuous feedback to senior management.
  • Offer ongoing guidance to sales consultants.
  • Promote and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
  • Act as a role model for staff by demonstrating effective sales practices and results-driven behavior.
  • Monitor staff activity levels and productivity regularly.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
  • Handle staff-related issues, including performance management and disciplinary procedures.
  • Investigate and implement initiatives to enhance department performance and sales generation.
  • Play a key role in recruiting new staff members

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leadership skills.
  • Matric certificate.
  • Experience with outbound follow-ups and inbound lead handling.
  • Minimum of 58 years sales call centre experience within the financial industry, with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of competitor offers within the industry.
  • Ability to develop and grow long-term customer relationships.
  • Willingness to mentor salespeople and help them enhance their industry knowledge.
  • Extremely deadline-driven and target-oriented.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to build consensus within diverse groups.
  • Achievement-oriented and thrives under pressure.
