Job Summary
Requirements:
-Presentable and professional -Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (Afr & Eng client base)-LLB Degree completed and admitted as an Attorney-Minimum 1 year post admission experience in Family Law matters A MUST (Not limited to Divorces)-Independently functional in compiling notices, pleadings and related legal documents-Computer literate in Caselines / Court Online-Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (Firm not on bus route)-Residing in Pretoria-Stable employment record and contactable References-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Family Law matters -Drafting of summonses, notices and pleadings, legal documentation relating to Family Law-Correspondence and liaison with clients, attorneys, Family Advocate, Advocates and various experts in private practice (e.g. psychological / social / forensic)-Court attendance with clients and advocates-Court appearances in Domestic Violence Court -Consultations with clients
