Facilitate and oversee the review of the Language Policy until approval as guided by the Policy on Policies. Consult with each Business Unit and National Facility to ensure the most spoken language(s) in their area of operation are incorporated in the engagement with local communities. Liaise with PanSALB to ensure the Policy aligns with relevant government legislation. Establish, thereafter, manage the Language Unit in accordance with approved guidelines and strategies. Develop an operational plan with clear outputs, products and services and Standard Operating Procedures. Drive implementation of the Language Policy across the organisation. Ensure corporate statutory reports are fully compliant with the Language Policy as it applies to them. Support the internal communications by monitoring and facilitating the correct application of approved languages in organisational communications across all entities. Develop internal stakeholder engagement plan. Qualification: Deg African Languages/Translation Studies/Linguistics/Language Practice or related. An honours deg will be an added advantage. Proficiency in at least two/three African Languages will be an added advantage. At least 7 years experience in a similar role (Language Unit) and of which (3) years or more of progressive language NB: People with disabilities only (PWDs)
