A specialist mineral processing company is looking for a Sales Engineer to grow its footprint across local and international mining and processing markets. This role suits a technically strong professional who enjoys consultative sales, engaging with clients on process challenges, and translating test work into practical, value-driven solutions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Engineering qualification (Chemical or Metallurgical preferred)
• 3–5 years’ experience in mineral processing or related heavy industry
• Proven exposure to capital equipment sales or technical solution selling
• Valid driver’s license and medical fitness for mine sites
• Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Develop new business for mineral processing equipment, services, and test work
• Engage with clients to understand ore characteristics, plant constraints, and process needs
• Translate technical requirements into test programs, proposals, and equipment solutions
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, including budget pricing
• Manage the sales process from enquiry through to order and aftersales support
• Build long-term relationships with mining clients and project stakeholders
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide market feedback to management
