Pretoria: Financial Accountant (Cost & Management)

Key Responsibilities: Close Encounters: Handle month-end and year-end close processes like a pro. Money Talks: Prepare management accounts, annual financial statements, and regulatory reports. Analyze This: Dig into expenses, variances, and support budgets and forecasts. Asset-ive Management: Keep fixed assets, WIP accounts, and IFRS compliance in check. Taxing Matters: Submit tax returns, manage insurance declarations, and oversee finance risks. Team Player: Collaborate across departments, auditors, banks, and SARS to keep finances smooth. Job Experience and Skills Required: Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar. 5 years in a comparable accounting role; manufacturing experience a plus. ERP savvy (JDE essential; QlikView & Hubble a cherry on top). Financial accounting, advanced Excel (formulas, modelling, analysis), IFRS knowledge, analytical & problem-solving prowess.
