About the Role
Career Crew Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Hydraulics Sales Representative to join our team in Pretoria West. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling hydraulic components and systems to businesses in industries such as Construction, Mining, and Manufacturing. You will identify customer needs, provide technical solutions, and build long-term relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify industry gaps and stay updated on the latest hydraulic technologies.
- Provide pre- and post-sales technical advice, recommend appropriate hydraulic solutions, and assist with product training.
- Generate sales inquiries, prepare detailed quotations and proposals, follow up on leads, and manage the sales pipeline to close deals.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, build long-term relationships, and identify new business opportunities by visiting client sites and understanding their hydraulic needs.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing, analyse costs, and prepare regular reports for head office or senior management.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of hydraulic systems, components, fluid power, and hydrostatics.
- Proven ability to generate leads, meet sales targets, build strong customer relationships, and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate technical information and build rapport with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyse sales data and market trends.
