Pretoria: Junior Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Control Systems Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning control and automation systems for a range of industrial applications. Youll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and innovative control solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement control system architectures for industrial automation projects. Produce detailed electrical and control system schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software using platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider. Perform system integration, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and site commissioning. Provide technical support during project delivery and post-installation. Ensure designs comply with relevant safety standards and industry regulations. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and process engineers to ensure seamless project execution. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. Experience in control systems design, automation, or industrial engineering. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000, etc.). Experience with HMI/SCADA design and integration. Familiarity with communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN is an advantage.
