About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sage X3 consultant to join our team at Communicate Finance. As a mid-level Sage X3 consultant, you will collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, map business processes to Sage X3 functionality, and provide end-to-end project delivery. Your expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Sage X3 ERP systems is essential to driving success for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather, analyse, and document business requirements
- Map business processes to Sage X3 functionality and recommend effective solutions
- Configure and customise Sage X3 modules including workflows, user roles, reports, and basic integrations
- Participate in end-to-end project delivery including design, implementation, testing, training, go-live, and post-implementation optimisation
- Provide troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing Sage X3 system support
- Deliver user training sessions and prepare supporting documentation
- Contribute to project planning, timelines, and status reporting in line with implementation methodologies
Requirements
- 3–6 years’ hands-on experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Sage X3 ERP systems
- Strong functional knowledge in at least one core module: Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
- Proven experience working in client-facing consulting environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within project teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Sage X3 Certification (Certified Consultant or module-specific certification) – essential
