Pretoria: Production Planner (2 Shift)

Minimum requirements: 5 Years Production Planning experience CNC / Lathe experience would be added bonus Looking for a skilled resource to plan the laser cutting, welding and painting areas The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring the production process to ensure that products are manufactured efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role works closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to balance demand with capacity, while maintaining optimal stock levels and minimizing production delays. Key Responsibilities – Ensure availability of raw materials, components, and resources required for production. – Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet delivery deadlines. – Track and report on production KPIs (efficiency, downtime, on-time delivery, etc.). – Identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or risks in the production process. – Liaise with quality assurance to ensure compliance with standards. – Continuously improve planning processes, systems, and accuracy. Requirements & Skills – Proven experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar role in manufacturing/operations. – Strong knowledge of production planning principles, capacity planning, and MRP/ERP systems.
