About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer Process to manage end-to-end project execution across South Africa and Africa for our water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process engineering design, project management, and coordination with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end project execution across South Africa and Africa
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, transport, installation, and commissioning
- Maintain detailed project schedules, hold points, and procurement trackers
- Interpret and enforce PFDs, P&IDs, fabrication drawings, civil layouts, and specifications
- Manage QA/QC, FAT/SAT, inspections, and compliance
- Monitor budgets, margins, and progress payments
- Conduct weekly client updates and technical meetings
- Identify risks early and implement corrective actions
- Design IFAS/MBBR, MBR, filtration, RO, and disinfection systems
- Conduct mass balances, process modelling, hydraulic assessments, and biological sizing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
- 7 years of experience in water/wastewater process design and project execution
- Strong knowledge of biological treatment, filtration, disinfection, and membranes
- Skilled in CAD, process simulation tools, and MS Project
- Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
Salary & Benefits
CTC Banding: R360 000 – R696 000 (based on experience and qualification)
