Responsibilities:

– Utilize proactive, creative and cost-effective recruitment methods to attract and source a diverse pool of candidates, including leveraging online recruiting resources, social media, Employee Self Service. – Continuously partner with the business, building relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of requirements. – Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine applicable fit for current or future opportunities. – Proactively identify hiring needs and design, refine and implement the recruitment strategy to fill each position in a timely manner. – Educate and support hiring managers, enabling them to better design job descriptions, evaluate potential profiles and improve competency based interviewing – Utilise appropriate assessment techniques to improve the selection process and ensure a focus on evidence-based decision making. – Act as an advocate for best practice, monitoring local accountabilities to ensure ethical and transparent practices are maintained – Ad-hoc project work to support the wider HR and business community – Consistently drive applicants to apply for open roles using our ESS (Employee Self Service) and manage workflow on time to ensure a smooth recruiting process. Education and Qualifications: – Experience in full cycle recruitment in various functions and business lines, from blue collar, skilled trades and professional & leadership searches. – Expert knowledge in utilizing external sources such as search engines, job boards, social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn) to identify candidates – Excellent engagement skills as an experienced business partner across wide range of stakeholders – Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written – Extensive experience writing appealing candidate centric job postings and messaging – Proficiency with Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience – Exposure to business stakeholders at all levels, designing bespoke recruitment Ad hoc action plan to resolve specific requirements. – Experience with various direct sourcing techniques, including knowledge of job posting and searching through professional platforms such as LinkedIn. – Ideally an experience utilising various assessment methodologies including competency based interviewing, role play and group assessment centre design, aptitude and psychometric profiling tools. – Competent using in-house applicant tracking systems, Ideally Workday

Develop and implement a hiring strategy that speaks to the overall objectives of each individual company, all the while making sure that the staffing needs are being met. Understand the business and hiring managers to make sure we don’t waste time with candidates that are not qualified and not suitable. Market the company as an employer of choice We want to have people queuing up to work for us. You should actively work with the marketing team to build our social media presence and to advertise on suitable portals. Proactively create applicant pools and talent pipelines. Even if there are no vacancies we want a database of people who have been vetted that we can call on at any time. Use social media, use portals, your network or any other programmes that will work. Develop and implement graduate programs. “ Catch them while they are young” we always say…it will be your responsibility to set up connections at varsities and promoting us to recent graduates. Screen and assess candidates properly to ensure high quality candidates get referred to hiring managers. This includes setting up an array of technical and non-technical assessments to screen suitability. Implement and maintain our recruitment processes including record keeping and tracking systems. It is important to support efficient full cycle recruiting Are there any specific skills and attributes required? An effective communicator, who can interact with all types of people, both written and verbal. Someone who is confident , not scared to pick up the phone and speak to anyone. An independent worker who delivers with minimal supervision. Has an ability to work effectively under pressure . Manages self to ensure deadlines are met. Develops and maintains solid relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Remains curious, thinks outside the box and forms close relationships to hiring managers. Conveys a positive attitude even in difficult circumstances. Takes responsibility for the role and takes initiative . Cultural fit for a fast-moving and high-performance, but also informal and non-hierarchical organisation.
