Position Overview:
Our client in the FMCG sector, located in Randburg, Johannesburg, is seeking a skilled Debtors Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the debtor`s accounting function. This role will be responsible for managing a team of six staff members while ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the debtor`s processes.

Key

• Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 6 staff members to achieve departmental goals and deadlines.
• Debtors Management: Oversee all debtor accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and present debtor-related financial reports to management.
• Accounting Operations: Manage and maintain accurate records of all debtor transactions in compliance with accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve debtor processes to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.
• Customer Relations: Handle escalated client queries and disputes professionally to ensure client satisfaction.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, financial regulations, and best practices in the debtors function.

• Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in debtors or accounting management.
  • Proven track record of managing a team in a similar role.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the full accounting function.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
