Shopfitting installer / CarpenterWe are an award-winning production agency and shopfitting company, with full in-house production.You could work at a client`s premises, in retail stores, or in a workshop.Your working environment may be physically demanding, cramped, you`ll travel often, outdoors some of the time, dusty and at height.RequirementsExperience in shopfitting, working with materials like wood, metal, glass, and plastics.To be thorough and pay attention to detailMark out and cut wood, metal, glass and plastic to make units and fittings in a workshopPrepare or follow design plansKnowledge of manufacturing production and processesMeasure and set out jobs on siteInstall units, frames and shopfronts with hand and power toolsWork with other tradespeople on site like tilers and electriciansThe ability to work well with othersThe ability to work well with your handsThe ability to accept criticism and work well under pressureTo be able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held deviceSolid understanding of health and safety regulationsMatric certificate requiredWillingness to travel for installations and provide on-site support.Shopfitting experience is essential.Valid driver`s license (code 10 PDP license beneficial.Ability and willingness to work late hours as required, and over weekends.
