FARM / PRODUCTION MANAGER (WHEAT & LIVESTOCK) Riviersonderend An established wheat and livestock (sheep) farm located 12 km from Riviersonderend has an excellent opportunity available for an energetic person who is interested in establishing a career in the agricultural industry. The job incumbent will report directly to the owner and will be expected to become involved in all farming activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Sheep farming in general The cultivation of wheat, barley and canola Supervision of labourers Operating harvesters, sprayers and planter tractors REQUIREMENTS: Agricultural Diploma will be advantageous Preferable experience in cropping and livestock (sheep) management, but it is not a prerequisite Experience in operating farm machinery advantageous Must be able to work independently and in a team Valid driver’s license In return for your enthusiasm and dedication, a negotiable remuneration package, which includes housing, is offered.
