About the Role
The successful candidate will lead and mentor a finance department, providing strategic financial input to management and directors. They will be responsible for establishing strong financial governance, controls, and management information systems, ensuring accurate and insightful financial reporting to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish strong financial governance, controls, and management information systems
- Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to support decision-making
- Lead and mentor the finance department and develop its people
- Support the implementation and optimisation of IQ Retail across all branches
- Build a structured financial framework to enable sustainable business growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Professional qualification (e.g., CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA) is strongly preferred
- Minimum 8 years relevant financial management experience
- Exposure to multi-entity / retail / distribution environments advantageous
- Strong experience managing finance teams and implementing systems
- Demonstrable expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
