Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to join our upscale Italian café/restaurant in Roodepoort, Johannesburg West Rand. With over 8 years of restaurant management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management or General Manager role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant operation, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cash reconciliation, stock management, opening and closing procedures
Lead team effectively and handle performance issues
Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality control
Perform other tasks as required

Requirements

Strong operational management skills
Articulate and fluent in English
Proficient in cash reconciliation, stock management, and opening and closing procedures
Ability to manage the entire restaurant operation
Excellent customer relations and staff management skills
