Requirements:

• Recognized Trade Certificate in Plumbing.
• Completed Logbook/Training Modules (proof required).
• Valid Exit Medical Certificate from a recognized medical facility.
• Proven experience in plumbing within a mining or industrial environment.
• Sound knowledge of plumbing systems, maintenance procedures, and relevant safety standards.
• Physically fit and medically cleared to work in a mining environment.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of water, drainage, and sanitation systems across the site.
• Inspect and identify plumbing issues, leaks, and blockages, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
• Install and repair pipes, valves, pumps, geysers, and fixtures according to industry and site standards.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure all plumbing systems are in optimal working condition.
• Ensure compliance with Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) regulations and internal safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring proper use and storage of tools and materials.
