Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
-Apply shotcrete to the hanging wall with accuracy and efficiency.
-Ensure all probes are marked correctly and spaced according to specifications.
-Adhere strictly to mine safety standards and regulations.
-Maintain a clean and hazard-free working environment.
-Measure water content accurately for high-quality shotcrete application.
-Work closely with the Team Leader and Miner to ensure smooth operations.
-Comply with health and safety policies, upholding Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Requirements & Qualifications:
-Certificate of Competency as a Nozzle Operator.
-Competency “B” Certificate.
-Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
-MQA-endorsed certification.
-OEM Training.
-Strong planning and time management skills.
-Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nozzle Operator in a mining environment.
-Must be medically fit for underground work.
