Summary purpose/expectations: The purpose of the role is to install, maintain, and repair all electrical systems and automotive systems on heavy duty machinery and other vehicles. Key Deliverables: Installation of Auto Electrical Systems: Installs, inspects, maintains and repair all electrical & automotive systems on heavy duty machinery and other vehicles. Ensure constant diagnoses, service, repair automotive electrical wiring, electrical & electronic systems. Codes, Regulations Compliance & Health and Safety procedures are maintained. Maintenance and Repairs: Constant electrical troubleshoot and diagnoses. Perform routine maintenance and checks to ensure the appropriate functioning of electrical systems. Retrofit old systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Repair general faulty wiring, equipment, or fixtures, electrical control panels, etc. Preserve precise records of work performed, including diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation. Overhead crane maintenance and fault finding. Codes and Regulations Compliance: Adhere national electrical codes and safety regulations. Ensure that installations meet quality and safety standards. Health and Safety: Ensure safety procedures and equipment are maintained. Ensure a health and safe work environment. Requirements: Minimum Academic, Professional Qualifications & Experience required for this position: N3 or higher qualification and qualified as auto electrician with a trade test certificate. 3 Years experience as an auto electrician. Knowledge of auto electrical systems, diagnostics, and technical proficiency. General: Applicant should be located to Marikana or surrounding areas / SA Citizen Valid SA code 08 driver licence and own transport.
