About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Rustenburg Resort in North West, South Africa. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality are maintained across the resort, while also providing exceptional leadership and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage large-scale cleaning operations
- Ensure all areas of the resort meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Supervise and train a team of housekeepers to achieve excellent results
- Implement budgeting, financial management, and cost control systems to optimise resource allocation
- Utilise knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment to maintain high standards
Requirements
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Proficient in budgeting, financial management, and cost control
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment used in large hotel operations
- Proficiency in housekeeping management software and other relevant systems
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as Exec/Head Housekeeper in a large hotel
