Requirements:

• Grade 10 Certificate
• Certificate of Competency as a Nozzle Operator
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nozzle Operator in a mining environment
• Medically fit

Responsibilities:

• Apply shotcrete according to instructions and to the required thickness.
• Follow all mine standards and specifications.
• Ensure probes are correctly colour-coded and spaced accurately.
• Comply with safety and maintenance procedures at all times.
• Maintain clean and safe working areas for optimal productivity.
• Supply shotcrete forward and backward to ensure quality output.
• Correctly measure and monitor water content in the mix.
• Report progress to the Shotcrete Supervisor.
• Work safely under Sections 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
• Adhere to all site, operational, and procedural requirements.
