Requirements
- A recognised Mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship will be highly advantageous.
- Technical qualifications such as N6 / N-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are beneficial.
- 5+ years proven experience as a TSS, ideally in the mining or valve industry.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales metrics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required.
- Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with Maths/Science.
- Valve industry experience will be a significant advantage.
ey Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies in collaboration with the RM.
- Analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities within the Rustenburg area.
- Monitor and manage overall regional sales performance.
- Maintain a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience with clients such as Anglo (Valterra), Implats, and additional Rustenburg-area mining operations.
- Leverage strong relationships on various mining plants with solid knowledge of mining systems and procurement processes.
- Assess client flow-related applications and recommend long-term TCO-driven solutions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Conduct sales calls, technical support, demonstrations, and client presentations confidently.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure service excellence.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and analytics for the RM.
- Represent the company at regional events, trade shows, and industry conferences.
- Must reside within 30–50 km of key clients in the Rustenburg region.
