Job Summary
What You’ll Do:
- Remove, replace, and repair tyres on heavy vehicles, including trucks, buses, and commercial fleets.
- Inspect and assess tyre conditions to determine necessary actions.
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Repair punctures and other tyre damage efficiently.
- Advise customers on tyre maintenance and suitable tyre choices based on their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ensure all work is carried out to safety and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a truck tyre fitter or in a related automotive role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with tyre fitting equipment and diagnostic tools; strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Knowledge: Understanding of different tyre types, vehicle mechanics, and safety standards.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks; stamina to work in various conditions.
- License: Valid driver`s license is advantageous.
