Job Summary

<p><strong>Experienced Front of House Manager required for a high-end, luxury Cocktail & Tapas Bar.</strong></p><p><strong>NB: Extensive knowledge of Top-tier spirits, cocktails and fine wines essential. The position requires an individual who is both highly articulate, immaculately presented and well groomed.</strong></p><p><strong>Key duties will include:</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Service Standards:</strong> Define the quality benchmarks and expectations for customer interaction and delivery of the product or service.</p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Guest Experience & Service Levels:</strong> Ensure guests receive excellent service, monitor customer satisfaction, and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Actively engage with guests to gather feedback on their dining experience and contribute to a positive restaurant image. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p><strong>Staff Training:</strong> Equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and meet business goals.</p></li><li><p><strong>Human Resources:</strong> Manages the personnel aspect of a business, including recruitment, compensation, performance, and employee relations.</p></li><li><p><strong>Controls:</strong> Establish checks and balances to ensure operations adhere to established policies, safeguard assets, and achieve organizational objectives.</p></li><li><p><strong>Operations Oversight:</strong> Manage the smooth daily flow of the dining room, coordinate reservations and seating, and supervise shifts. </p></li><li><p><strong>Hygiene & Safety:</strong> Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of dining areas and guest contact points, and ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations. </p></li><li><p><strong>Financial & Administrative Tasks:</strong> Assist in balancing cash drawers, manage inventory for beverages and supplies, and review financial data to support profitability. </p></li><li><p><strong>Collaboration:</strong> Work closely with the kitchen (back-of-house) and senior management to facilitate efficient communication and ensure operational alignment. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Highly Groomed and Eloquent</p></li><li><p>Strong leadership and motivational abilities.</p></li><li><p>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.</p></li><li><p>Financial acumen and the ability to manage operational costs.</p></li><li><p>Extensive knowledge of food and premium luxury beverages.</p></li><li><p>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, potentially high-stress environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and guests. </p></li></ul>
