Sandton: Fund Accountant – Retirement Funds

Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting or equivalent SAIPA/SAICA articles completed or in progress. 24 years accounting experience with retirement fund AFS preparation. Proficient in CaseWare and Excel; experience with Sage/Xero advantageous. Strong understanding of IFRS and Pension Funds Act accounting principles. Key Duties: Maintain full accounting records and month-end close for retirement funds. Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements (AFS) in CaseWare. Reconcile member liabilities, investments, and fund expenses. Liaise with auditors and provide audit-ready working papers.
