Midrand: Financial Accountant posted by Network Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Ensure VAT, PAYE and statutory compliance.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Analyse financial information and provide meaningful business insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Partner with operational teams to support business performance.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles will be advantageous.
• 3+ years’ commercial accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience on ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, Pastel, Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
