Description:
Hire Resolve`s Client is currently looking for an experienced Group Commercial Manager to join their mining company based in Gauteng. You will be in charge of overseeing all commercial aspects related to procurement management.

Responsibilities:

• Actively involved in completing and reviewing supplier-facing documents to ensure high quality and industry standards.
• Drive compliance with processes and policies in supplier documentation.
• Ensure supplier-facing documents (quotations, proposals, and contracts) are:
  • Aligned with Procurement Projects and Operations, following global bundling processes.
  • Drafted according to local and global policies to minimize risk and ensure quality.
  • Approved internally before submission to suppliers.
  • Audited per Commercial Department requirements.
  • Registered in the Contract Management System (for contracts) in a timely manner.
• Manage a global portfolio of suppliers, ensuring all commercial matters are handled promptly or escalated as needed.
• Oversee commercial matters, including price escalation notifications, while acting as a business partner in the process.
• Participate in supplier negotiations.
• Train end users on compliance requirements, risks of non-compliance, and system processes.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Law/LLB/Procurement/Supply Chain
• 10 years` experience in Legal, Commercial and Procurement
• 5 years` experience in the mining industry.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Valid Driver`s License
