A Sheet Metal Design and Manufacturing Company in Wynberg, Sandton is looking for an experienced Punch Operator. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in punch tooling, first article inspections, and producing high-quality components.Key Responsibilities:Operate and set up AMADA punching machines.Sharpen and maintain punch tooling using a Togu tool sharpener.Perform first article inspections to ensure part quality.Read and interpret engineering drawings to verify part specifications.Understand and apply die clearances for various material types.Experience with forming tools is an advantage.Requirements:Minimum 5 years experience as a punch operator.Strong knowledge of punch tooling setup and maintenance.Ability to perform quality checks and ensure compliance with specifications.Familiarity with different material types and tooling requirements.Grade 12 or equivalent.Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.If you are a skilled Punch Operator with a passion for precision and quality, we want to hear from you!
