Job Summary

A leading company in the industrial sector is seeking a highly skilled ECM Technician to take charge of the Equipment Condition Monitoring (ECM) process. This is a prime opportunity for an experienced professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision to play a critical role in operational efficiency and plant health. In this role, the ECM Technician will manage and sustain all ECM data within a centralised electronic database, ensuring accurate reporting and analysis to support maintenance decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with strong technical capabilities, excellent human relations skills, and a solid understanding of ISO systems. Key Responsibilities Include: Overseeing and maintaining ECM databases and reporting systems Reporting on plant health conditions and following up on feedback Defining and sustaining ECM work processes Supporting human relations efforts such as employee development discussions and performance evaluations Contributing to SHEQ objectives through ISO 9001, 14001, and 45000 implementation What You`ll Need to Succeed: Matric with Maths and Science A recognised Diploma/Degree and Red Seal Trade Certificate Certified Category 3 or 4 in Equipment Condition Monitoring Proficiency in ECM software (vibration monitoring, thermal camera, ultrasonic) Six Sigma Green Belt (advantageous) 510 years experience in a maintenance environment as an ECM Technician (Category 2) Previous hands-on artisan trade experience EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company`s Employment Equity plan.
