Polymer and Chemical Manufacturing company based in Sasolburg is searching for an Operations Shift Team Leader, overseeing various plants, reporting to the Operations Executive. You will be required to work in a team and independently.

• Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science (Higher qualification would be advantageous)
• Valid drivers license for manual vehicle

Added advantage:

• Chemical Operations NQF Level 4 Certificate /Chemical Plant Operator NQF Level 4 Certificate
• Experience in a chemical operation environment

Further requirements:

• Previous relieving/acting experience as a Foreman would be advantageous
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficient in computer use, with excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Highly motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive and able to demonstrate initiative.
• Good physical condition to meet job demands.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Willingness to work overtime on short notice when required.
• Diligent and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

• Responsible to plan activities on shift and People Management on shift
• Ensure the Execution of maintenance, Issue Safe work Permits and do electrical isolations.
• Interpret Lab analysis and make adjustments.
• Investigate product and process deviations.
• Make sure team works together for effective housekeeping.
• Coaching, training and mentoring of your team.
