JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bin/Container Tracker is responsible for:

• Tracking and monitoring movements of scrap bins
• Issuing bin reconciliation reports daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Identifying and assessing damaged bins
• Coordinating the repairs of the damaged bins
• Advising site manager on bin availability
• Assisting with general adhoc duties in the projects department.
• Tracking down and recovering of lost bins

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Computer literacy essential ( Microsoft office) create and maintain excel spreadsheets, communicate with email, compile reports and present data in tabulated form
• Experience working in a Transport orientated division and environment will be an added advantage
• Valid Code 08 license
• Own, reliable transport

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate well (both verbally and in writing) in English
• Experience in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Ability to manage time effectively, set priorities and meet deadlines
• Problem solving skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Detail-orientated and results driven
• Ability to organize effectively and prioritize own workload
