Job Summary
Sagen Advisory Recruitment Company is seeking a meticulous Credit Controller/Data Capturer to join a dynamic refrigeration company in Somerset West. This role involves managing credit control functions, capturing and maintaining accurate financial data, and assisting the financial department with various tasks. While prior experience in the refrigeration industry is not required, the successful candidate must thrive in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Control:
- Assist in managing supplier accounts, including credit limits and payment terms with the financial department.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from debtors to ensure timely collection when needed.
- Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding account queries.
Data Capturing:
- Accurately input and maintain financial data on accounting systems, including Xero and Dext.
- Verify the accuracy of captured data and reallocate when and if necessary.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the bookkeeper and the broader financial team to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide support with financial reconciliations and audits.
Ad-Hoc Tasks:
- Handle various administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Support other departments with whatever assistance they need.
High-Pressure Environment:
- Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Maintain a professional and composed demeanor when facing challenging situations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: Previous experience in credit control and data capturing would be beneficial
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Xero is preferred. Experience with Dext Prepare is advantageous.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of work as the company is VAT registered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Adaptability: Comfortable taking on a variety of tasks and responsibilities.
- Teamwork: Demonstrates a collaborative and cooperative working style.

Remuneration
