Position Overview

Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Content Designer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing and curating high-quality content that enhances brand awareness, engages audiences, and aligns with marketing objectives. The ideal candidate combines graphic design expertise, content creation skills, and marketing knowledge to produce compelling materials across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing content such as graphics, infographics, presentations, and web visuals.
• Collaborate with product managers and the marketing director to conceptualize campaigns that align with brand guidelines and achieve objectives.
• Design and deliver promotional materials for marketing campaigns, product launches, and events.
• Ensure content aligns with overall marketing strategies and maintains brand consistency.
• Work with product, sales, and marketing teams to tailor content to audience needs.
• Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions.
• Analyze content performance metrics and refine designs to improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry trends and integrate innovative design practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Qualification in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
• Proven graphic design and content creation experience, with a strong portfolio of marketing materials.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Corel Draw.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms like Canva, HubSpot, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Insightly.
• Strong understanding of branding, typography, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and website design.
• Photography or illustration skills are advantageous.

Location: Somerset West

R20 000 – R25 000 per month depending on experience
