About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative SALES & MARKETING MANAGER to lead the overall strategic direction of our luxury hotel in Stellenbosch. With a focus on boutique-style operations and service, including all-suite accommodation, weddings, and functions, we require a candidate with a proven track record in achieving revenue targets and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth
- Lead the hotel’s sales team to achieve quarterly targets
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Collaborate with departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years (not 58) of experience in hotel sales and marketing leadership, preferably in a 4- or 5-star property
- Proven track record in achieving revenue targets and leading high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of corporate, leisure, MICE, and group market segments
- Experience with PMS systems (e.g. Opera, Fidelio, One Source) highly advantageous
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management preferred
